Stephen Crowe is an English composer of funny operas and experimental music. He was born in Bolton and grew up in Nottingham. Crowe studied Fine Art at John Moores in Liverpool and Composition at Goldsmiths in London. He likes to brag about having read Proust. He got his unfortunate sexual education from listening to Prince. He plays free improv guitar and sings in a heavy metal Barbra Streisand covers band.
